If your research involves humans you do not need to receive IRB Approval before submitting a proposal. Though if you are funded you must receive approval before receiving the grant money.

IRB Information Workshops
The IRB (committee over human subjects research) is also holding several information workshops for faculty and students. The workshops will cover basic information about what types of research require approval and how to apply for approval.

For more information go to IRB Workshops.
